Well, I just wanted to write a little note and let everyone know that Brandon and I have decided that in addition to our registries at Target and Babies R Us, we have also decided to bank Baby Nugget's cord blood with Cord Blood Registry.

After months of talking about it, we both think it is in our family's best interest. Not only will all of our children be able to use these stem cells, but research is being done for parental usage. Right now, they are using these cells in treatment for childhood cancers, brain injuries, and other diseases. In addition to these diseases, they are working with stem cells right now to find treatments for children born with disabilities such as spina bifida and cystic fibrosis.
We feel very confident in our decision to go with CBR, but don't get us wrong! We hope that we will never EVER need these cells, but they will be there if the day ever arises.
