So, Brandon and I want to make a deck in the backyard...Well, not really a deck with wood, but more like an extension of the cement area. When I lived in Laplace my mom and dad made extended the cement in the backyard to make the back patio larger and it was a perfect place to go out and play. We would put the swimming pool on it, we would ride bikes on it, play basketball, and I even remember Tim and Nick as a little babies confined to their cage/playpen while we were outside playing. I asked mom if it was really hard and she said it was a long drawn out process and you had to also put drainage in it. She said it was really hard to do and that we may want to look into hiring someone to come out and lay the cement. Anywho, Brandon went on his computer and made a little plan as to what we want.
The "L" to the left is approx where I would put a garden and Brandon wanted to put a fire pit in the circle to the right.
